Gordon Wright
GORDON WRIGHT spent his formative music years playing classical violin, but a stint in college a cappella gave him a bug for singing and soon after he started a Boston-based rock band called Fooled By April.
The band toured the country, playing festivals like SXSW and CMJ and licensing songs to Sony and ABC/Disney, but eventually Gordon had enough of the music biz and found joy helping cool, cause-oriented organizations tell their stories and promote public good.
These days, he lives with his family in Evanston, Illinois, and is finally fronting a new band: The Chicago Jazz Dads.
Today is Thursday, March 5. My name is Gordon Wright, and I am sharing a new song on the 5th of every month this year. My song for today is called, “The Me I Was Meant to Be.”
