After many years of drumming in bands in the Seattle area, Ian got the bug to write his own songs.

First, they came in a cappella snippets that required deciphering from friends. Invisible Shivers was then born as a live band.

Since then, he quit singing and drumming at the same time, but continues writing music and collaborating with friends. As he write this, he is expecting his first child any day now, and is looking forward to exploring the next chapter of music: dad songs.
