Karen has been writing songs for 25 years or so. She loves songwriting and finds it to be very therapeutic. She writes songs about current events, cultural events, politics, animals, and other personal/emotional things.

She is currently in the process of recording her songs. Once this is completed, she will start a musical website.

Karen speaks Spanish as a second language, which enters her songs. She is also fascinated by different cultures and dialects. She has been performing her music around Chicago lately.
