3/1/26: “Annunciation Day,” by Cousin Wolf

Cousin Wolf is the indie-folk music project of Matt Halvorson, a musician, writer and infielder living with his family in the woods north of Seattle. He is sharing a new song on the first of every month again this year, and his song for today is called “Annunciation Day.” The title was suggested last August by a family member in Minnesota after the shooting at Annunciation Catholic School, but it took a little while for the song to come together. Featuring Anna Soltys on backing vocals and Joey Spilberg on bass (thank you!). I love you. Rise up.
