Sam Sloane

Sam Sloane is an artist from Ōtautahi, Aoteroa (Christchurch, New Zealand) After leaving the South Pacific, Sam traveled to the US and settled in the Bay Area where he formed experimental post punk band, VIR.

Heading further north he relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2015 and endeavored on a new project, The NorthShip. Like the namesake poem by Phillip Larkin, Sam's music endeavors to venture into the unknown and perilous sea with a solitary pursuit of meaning in a journey of deep self-discovery and purpose.
