Tyranny of Dave is the solo project of David Wechsler. You can find his stuff at tyrannyofdave.com where you can also dig into his work with Orquestral Americana history band, Piñataland.

Currently he also plays keyboards with Estate Sale (estatesaleband.com). He's fled the socials for the most part but you can find him at tyrannyofdave.bsky.social where he posts a Sunday morning still life with a cup of coffee, a newspaper headline and an associated LP cover.

He hopes to use the Rise Up songs as a springboard to finish his trilogy of albums: The Decline of America. Part 1: The Bush Years was released in 2010. Part 3: Silence in Brooklyn was released in 2018 and Part 2: Additional Opportunities to be Human, is currently in the works. If you're looking at that release schedule and thinking "This doesn't sound like a guy who writes a song every month" you are correct. We'll see how this goes.
